I see her face from that morning
and the tears that fall
I hear her crying out her troubles

Her eyes don't have the usual brightness
Her mouth doesn't have the usual smile
She has to make a decision now
To leave or be left behind

She wants to see something beautiful
Something to live for
And to die for
Something that will save her
Something that will end her plight

She wants to meet to meet someone special
Someone to say that it's all over
Someone to say it's just begun
A gun in one hand,
A rose in the other
Someone to fight,
Someone to love

So I went a little closer
I wanted to kiss her
And I wanted to slap her
I didn't know what to do
Because the truth is, I felt the same way too

I remembered what happened
As I drove back home
It reminded me of something important:
That I could live one more eternity
If I kept my eyes on the road
So I looked out the window

And crashed.
